I've come to the conclusion that there are just too many great blogs out there! The world is just full of amazing and intelligent people and now they all have blogs! I want to read them all, but I don't have enough time! I've found a bunch of great book blogs through the Back to School Giveaway Hop. Then one of those led me to a Book Blog group, which led me to even more. Then there's all the great mama blogs I find through babycenter.com or through researching home-schooling. There's just too many.
Here's just 5 of my new favorites:
Living, Learning, and Loving Life - Her blog has a similar premise to mine. She writes about books she's reading, in addition to the adventures she's having with her kids. She was writing sporadically for a while but is trying to write every day for a year. Check her out!
Utah Mom's Life - This is another book/mom website. Utah mom has five gorgeous children, and she reads a lot of great books. She's currently participating in the Back to School Giveaway Hop and mourning/celebrating her children's returns to school.
All Things Thrifty - Like her name says, this blog is all about being thrifty. She features amazing furniture makeovers and thrifty decorations and all kinds of household re-creations. I love the tutorial she just did on how to create tufted furniture. Looks gorgeous. And I so want that bedroom.
Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers - Don't let the name fool you, these guys may seem pretty cool to me. A mom who blogs about her experiences with homeschool, both the good and the bad. She talks about how she manages to balance herself, her kids, and her husband. She has a great sense of humor too. Definitely a good read.
1 + 1 + 1 = 1 - Makes sense right? Over here is another great family blog. I love that she posts "tot school" because that's something I'm currently trying to plan for my little one. She has older kids too, she also posts the educational stuff that she does with them.
Well there's five. I could have posted a hundred, I'm telling you. I am addicted to blogs now. There isn't enough time in the day to play with my baby, read books, feed my baby, read blogs, nurture baby, and give the husband attention. There just isn't. I guess I just gotta keep trying. :)

HI, thanks for visiting my blog, The Joys of Home Educating....I did do things with the kids when they were 6 months on up...we did a lot of blocks, color recognition, Sesame Street, Puzzles, the kind with the big chunky knobs...playing...playing is so important..but the biggest thing I did was READ to the kids when they were real young (and continued to)...go to a Library class if you have one...a mommy and me gym class...all so important! Are you planning on homeschooling? Either way, these are the times with the kids are sponges!

I'm still not sure yet on the home-schooling. I was supposed to teach at a home-schooling co-op but some crazy shenanigans went down. That sort of soured my husband on home-schooling. I want to at least keep CJ until 1st grade. We'll see what happens in a few years. Thanks for commenting back!
