Chris Mann "Roads" CD Review

I've never watched the game show "The Voice" in spite of the fact that my future husband and baby daddy Adam Levine is one of the hosts. Also Christina Aguilera is a host and I think she's gorgeous. I know the premise though. The judges turn their backs while people sing. If the judge wants to work with the singer, they push a button that turns their chair around they can then see the performer. From what I gather, both Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera chose Chris for their teams, but he decided to go with Team Christina. Apparently he ended up coming in 4th place. Doesn't seem to have affected him much though.

I'm glad I got to review this. I'm a big fan of crooners. There's the classics that I love - Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole. Then there are the new crooners that I love - Josh Groban, Michael Buble, and Harry Connick, Jr. Well, add Chris Mann to that list. This boy can croon with the best of them. (Ok, maybe not with Frank. Nobody can beat Frank Sinatra.)

The album has a bunch of the greats on it - Ava Maria, Always on my Mind, and one of my all time favorite songs My Way. I loved it. His voice is soulful, passionate, and smooth. Listening to it, you honestly think he is singing directly to you. Mmmm. I know exactly why Christina picked him for her team. I would have too. He is classically trained, and it shows. He knows his stuff. He definitely has a new fan in me.

If you'd like to listen to his music, check out ChrisMannMusic.com. Of course, it is also available on on iTunes. You can find Roads on Amazon as well. Go there to listen to a few snippets of the CD. Check him out, then come back and let me know what you think.

Of course, one lucky reader will win a copy of the CD. Just fill out the rafflecopter below the picture. That is if you can stop staring deep into his eyes long enough to enter. :)
Look at that jawline. Ouch.
And those eyes. It is like he's looking right at you. Yum.
