I have this really weird habit. At least my husband thinks it is weird. Even if there are seats available in the room, I sometimes like to sit on the floor. Considering I have a bad back, this is such a bad idea for me. It is made worse by the fact that I often sit on the floor to read a book or use the computer. The alignment of my head hanging down with my shoulders drooping and my back curved is so bad for me. I could sit at the comfortable desk chair or on the comfy couch, but instead I sit on the floor like a weirdo. By the time I get up, my back is aching and cracking like I'm a 90 year old lady. (No offense to the spry 90 year old ladies out there.)
What in the Sam Hill is that you might say. That, my friends, is the WondaWedge. And it is Wondaful. (Did you see what I did there?)
According to the WondaWedge website, the WondaWedge is "an inflatable pillow with a permanently attached mat" that is "perfect for the beach, picnics, outdoor concerts..." Most importantly, it is perfect for sitting on the floor and reading good books, which is what I use it for. The baby likes it too, I wish I got a picture of him using it. He not only used it to lie against, he also used it as a jungle gym. Then again, he uses everything as a jungle gym.
Here it is in action. Please note my excellent posture and deportment. My grandmother would be so proud.
So far I've only used this indoors. Once the nice weather gets here, I'll be using this to sit out on the porch and read, while enjoying the sunlight. Since it is deflatable and inflatable, I can take it with us to the beach or when we go camping.The seude-like surface should keep the sand off.
