A-Z Mini-Challenge #6 - Birthdays and Fathers' Days

How is everyone doing on the challenge? We are almost halfway through the year. It is summer, can you believe it? I can't. June is my absolute favorite month. It signals the start of fun and excitement and silliness. It is also my birthday month. Wahooooo! Happy birthday to me!

June is also the month with Father's Day in it. I was originally going to have you read a book with a celebration in it, like a birthday or something. Since I had a mother's day challenge last month, it is only fair to have a Father's day challenge this month.

So for this month's challenge, read a book with a father figure in it.
Remember that linking up below once you complete the month's challenge enters you into a book giveaway at the end of the year!

  1. So far I've read 17 books that count for the A-Z--and maybe if I hadn't set my titles ahead of time I'd have more. But I'm going with my set list. Have to see if any of the books I've got left will fit the Father's Day theme....

    1. I knew if I made my list ahead of time, I'd never want to read the books I chose. Towards the end, I'm probably going to have to do that though. You are doing a lot better than me!

  2. The book I am reading, I believe would fit in as one of the writers is a father and talks about what he was doing when two of his children were born. It is the story of Bill and Susan Hayes and the title is based on one of the introductory lines to Days of Our Lives -" Like Sands Through the Hourglass". Bill is a very proud father and has pictures of his children in the book. I will post a link to my review when I finish the book.

  3. I did finish my L book and it does have pictures of Bill;s family in the book. I am so glad I read this book, I found out that Bill could call himself Dr. William Hayes as he has a Doctor of Education degree.
